چکیده

Magnetic refrigeration systems are promising cooling solutions that employ the active magnetic regenerator cycle to achieve practical temperature spans and environmental benefits. The hydraulic system ensures a continuous flow of heat transfer fluid through with reciprocating in each bed is critical performance cycle. Hence, we investigate characteristics parallel circuit rotary system, which consists thirteen trapezoid-shaped regenerators, filled 295 g gadolinium spheres. Fluid controlled via electrically actuated solenoid valves (both piloted direct-acting) connected hot side. By varying percentage opening control valves, different blow fractions (or waveforms) could be investigated. objective study twofold: (i) assess whether imbalances exist cold-to-hot (cold blow) hot-to-cold (hot directions, (ii) determine there an optimal value fraction both maximize realize rapid pulldown. Flow resistance measurements demonstrate symmetric design resistances similar cold directions. Moreover, for studied 6 K 16 K, best was found about 41.6 %. For instance, at span, utilization 0.32, 1.4 Hz, increasing from 25.0 % enhanced capacity second-law efficiency 70 330 W 2.6 17.4 %, respectively. In turn, lower favored more magnetocaloric 30 faster establishing approximately 14 span when reduced 30.6 can benefit greatly allow operate either time-saving mode or energy-saving mode.

Cooling by Heat Conduction Inside Magnetic Flux Loops and the Moderate Cluster Cooling Flow Model

I study non-radiative cooling of X-ray emitting gas via heat conduction along magnetic field lines inside magnetic flux loops in cooling flow clusters of galaxies. I find that such heat conduction can reduce the fraction of energy radiated in the X-ray band by a factor of ∼ 1.5− 2. This non-radiative cooling joins two other proposed non-radiative cooling processes, which can be more efficient. ...

Improving Cyclone Efficiency by Recycle and Jet Impingement Streams

In this paper a new process is presented for improving efficiency of cyclone de-dusting systems. The cyclone is coupled with a specially designed cylindrical chamber which includes a rotating tube inside it with air impinging nuzzles, drilled on the peripheral surface of the tube. The nuzzles help in pushing and throwing the particles to the outer radius distances during downward flow of du...

Design and construction of evaporative local cooling coatings and evaluate their efficiency in improving some perceptual indicators in laboratory conditions

Introduction: One way to reduce the level of heat strain is to use personal evaporative cooling coats. such as the wrist, ankle, head and neck. The purpose of this study is to design, construct, and determine the cooling power of local cooling coatings and evaluate their efficiency in improving perceptual indicators in the laboratory. Materials and Methods: Initially, the design and constructio...

Hotspot Liquid Microfluidic Cooling: Comparing The Efficiency between Horizontal Flow and Vertical Flow

This paper reports a novel cooling method for a local high-temperature block in an integrated circuit, which is called a “hotspot”. The method is to cool the chip in out-of-plane (3-D) direction to overcome efficiency limit of traditional horizontal (2-D) cooling. Our result indicates that high-temperature (over 180 °C) circuit block such as a phase-locked-loop (PLL), which is a performance lim...

Improving physician flow and efficiency in the emergency department.

As an emergency physician, one of the cardinal skills to acquire is the ability to successfully manage large patient loads in a busy emergency department (ED). Such successful management requires speed and efficiency in managing patient flow, especially in light of our present state of overcrowding. Physician efficiency is a highly respected, yet rarely taught skill. In the “2001 Model of the C...
